Which devices does NoteHero run on?

iPad with iPadOS 15 or later, with Apple Pencil or your finger. It also runs on Mac computers with Apple silicon (M1 or later).

How does the free trial work?

Install the app and your 14-day trial with every feature starts right away, no card needed. When it ends, choose the yearly or the lifetime plan.

Without a purchase, existing notebooks still open, edit and export, but pages show a faint "NoteHero · Unlicensed copy" watermark, you can keep up to 3 notebooks and cannot add new pages.

I got a new iPad or reinstalled the app. How do I get my purchase back?

Sign in with the Apple ID you bought it with.
Open NoteHero and tap Buy a licence.
Tap Restore purchases. You won't be charged again.

How do I cancel the yearly plan?

On your iPad: Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › NoteHero › Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period. You keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for.

How do I ask for a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, pick the NoteHero purchase and send a request.

How do I move notebooks to another device?

In the notebook, tap More options (⋯) and choose Export as .mnb file.
Send the file by AirDrop, Mail, a chat app, or save it to Files.
On the other device, tap the file and open it with NoteHero, or tap Open file in the library.

Will I lose my notebooks if I delete the app?

Yes. Notebooks are stored only on the device, so deleting the app deletes them (unless they are in your iPad's iCloud Backup). Before deleting, export the notebooks you want to keep as .mnb files.

Does NoteHero collect my data?

No. There is no account, no ads, and your notebooks are never uploaded. See the Privacy Policy for details.
